About us
Alfonsina grew up dancing — ballet, contemporary, Argentine folklore, flamenco. Then she found tango, and it became her world. Years of milonguear led her to professional tango, performing with Ballet Municipal de Tango y Folklore de Rosario, CETBA Ballet, and Ballet Dinzel, blending technique, emotion, and creativity.
Michael started dancing tango at El Tacuari in Buenos Aires, exploring the dance with curiosity and intensity. He trained with masters like Eric Dinzel, Flavia Kohut, Fransley Marcel, Laura Murphy, Ruth Manonellas, and Andreas Erbsen, absorbing every nuance of the dance.
We met, and our tango became a celebration — a shared journey of curiosity, joy, and fire. Living in Amsterdam, we bring the warmth, rhythm, and soul of Buenos Aires to every class, workshop, and performance.
Our teaching is about more than steps: it’s about connection, play, and discovering your own way to move. We invite you to join us, try tango, laugh, and experience the dance as a dialogue between two people — and maybe, between you and the world.
Alfonsina as a Tango DJ
Apart from dancing, Alfonsina also works as a Tango DJ. She brings the unmistakable heartbeat of Buenos Aires to the decks, transforming any venue into a vibrant Buenos Aires milonga. With a deep, personal passion for her roots, she carefully curates sets of timeless tango and traditional Argentine music that inspire movement, spark deep connection, and create a sophisticated atmosphere of celebration.

We’ll keep each other company through the winter cold, through Mondays, and through those figures that challenge us, confuse us, or suddenly spark our curiosity.
This practice is a space for meeting, exchange, and playful exploration. Here you can try new steps, experiment with movement, ask questions, and discover together new ways to connect with others through tango. Whether you stumble, succeed, or just want to enjoy the music, this is a welcoming space to explore social dance in all its beauty and complexity.
